I don't begrudge them at all. Good for them if they can get top dollar. They just won't get it from me.

I shop the used market daily! my trucks are being built until I sell them. If I find good buys on truck parts I may need, I buy them. Am always looking for something and always selling something! Its a lifestyle.

39k, hes dreaming. For 39k one could buy a gently used 6.7 with similar mileage. That truck sold for less than that new, and while I like the 7.3, these trucks are not appreciating assets.

Yea..I'm new to this game..but that's not a bad price with 39k on it.. I just bought my 2003 7.3l 201k miles for 12.9.. And I was pleased with that price..that was the going price.. Maybe slightly less...central Florida.

I can see why people are asking these prices. In my area 60120 a new 4x4 XL SCLB starts at $41k+ and a new 4x4 Limited CCLB Starts at $81k+ I see trucks on CL from early 90's to 13's and up rusted, close to 200K some closer to 300k miles and they think because it's a truck, it's gold. These people don't take into consideration the condition of the vehicle, they take in what it cost them to buy it, then they'll check on KBB or NADA, and as always, they think it's in better condition that it really is because they put new tires on it 2 years ago or changed the oil 10k ago. Most of them are ready for the scrap yard, but as long as people are willing to pay the money they'll stay high priced. So if you guys want to spend your money that badly, give it to me....I have an 03 XLT SCLB F350 SWR 4x4 5.4 auto, about 135K door bottoms and rockers rusted pretty good, box was rusted out, cut out the inside and replaced it from another. New tires everything works except the light dimmer, I'll take anything over $8k and if you think that a good deal I'll sell ya my 18 year old FLHTC for $20K

I bought my ultra low mileage 2000 F350 7.3 dually around 4 years ago with 19k KM's, it had been dry stored for 4 or 5 years & only used as a toy prior to that, it had never seen rain, still had the original tyres (still has the original spare!) I paid £10k, which was around $13k at the time, I considered it a steal at the time & although I've spent a few k on upgrades & mods I wouldn't sell it for less than the cost of replacing it with a nearly new 6.7, probably not even then as I know my truck will still be going when I die & up till then I can fix it myself if or when it breaks.
