What are bed rail differences for say 09-14 and 15-17? Will a tonneau cover from 09-14 fit a 15-17?

I have a 6.5 foot bed on my XL and can get a used Tonneau from a 2012 cheap but don't wanna buy it unless it fits.

 

I couldn't tell you for sure. When I was shopping for mine the 2015+ had a different part number than the 09-14 which makes me think they are different. The bed rails do look slightly different on my 2016 than the 2012.

 

According to Ford they will not swap. 2 different part numbers.
