I just bought my 2011 F250 diesel 2 weeks ago. The dealer changed the oil less than 2 months ago and approx 1800 miles ago. Yesterday, my "change engine oil" light came on. I reset it, came back on again today. Why would my truck need another change already?

 

The dealer probably forgot to reset it.

 

I figured as much too, so I reset it and it went out, but came back on the next time I started the truck.

 

Maybe I reset it wrong. I don't have a manual for it. It cleared the message, but thinking back to yesterday, I think it was running already when I reset it.
