I read somewhere that there would only be 5 models (XL, XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, and Platinum). On another website though, I saw pictures of a FX4 style.

I really like the look of the new F150 but I'm not big on chrome. I love the sporty look of the 2013-14 FX4.

Update: @Brent FX4 is a trim level and is not simply 4wd. This has been the case for a number of years now.

 

If I understand what you're asking correctly, "Is the 2015 Ford F150 going to be offered in a FX4", yes it was, I have one.

 

Are you really asking about the 2015? Maybe you mean the 2017 or 2018?

 

FX4 is now an option package and not it's own separate trim level. You can get it on XLT and Lariat trucks for sure, and probably others.

 

That is correct, not a stand alone model anymore, I think the "Sport" package is about the same as the previous FX4, aesthetically anyway. (Monochromatic, minimal chrome, etc)

 

Correct, prior to 2015, fx4 was its own trim line, came in two different levels, if you did not order the luxury pkg, it was an xlt based truck with black cloth interior, if you ordered the luxury pkg you got a lariat with no wood accent trim panels and black leather seats front and rear seat was vinyl. 2015 and up if you want the look of an fx4 and the suspension pig, you order sport appearance and fx4 options, in reality, the only thing that changed was how the options were tiered.
