I was driving down the road and it was like the truck ran out of fuel..I know that both tanks are full. Checked the fuses under the hood and there good to go. Replaced the cps still no go. wait to start light is working when key is turned on, Now when I turn the key on there is no click. I thought that was a little off because before you allways heard a click when the key was turned on.
Whats my next move. i only have 139000 miles and this is like my first let down.I have had this truck for the last 20 years.

Check the fuel pressure via the schraider valve on the fuel pump. You should see 20 lbs. minimum WHILE CRANKING. You can use a cheap tire pressure tester, as the fuel will probably ruin the tester for tires. The fuel pump may have crapped out on you.

 

Also, check your IPR plug. If that jiggled loose, it will leave you dead in the water.
