Welcome and thank you for putting your location in personal information. That is a very good looking truck.

There are kits available that make the swap easy but there is always something that needs to be done to complete the task. I cannot be more specific since I bought my truck with the 351W in it.

If you run into a problem, ask here. Someone will have the answer for you or at the very least can direct to the answer.

Good luck!

The main things I swapped when I dropped a 302/FMX into my 52 was a new radiator (aluminum stock style replacement), front universal tubular cross member, universal tubular transmission crossmember and a new drive shaft. Other considerations was the headers. It needs to dump before the steering box. The only exhaust manifold that would fit I found was off of a v8 1963 falcon on the drivers side. I got pictures in my build thread. Only thing I really plan on changing later on is going with a AOD or 5 Speed besides turning up the heat a little on the engine.

It's true. Flatheads never die. They just take on new functions.

Welcome to the group. I'm sure you, as I have, will find a great deal of knowledge and experience available to you here.

Hi Jan, Good looking truck. You should not need to cut the frame to install a 302 engine with a C4 trans but I think that you will need a new trans crossmember. You can make it or by them at several of the common suppliers.

Is there a reason why you wanted a C4? The reason I ask is that I know that fuel prices are expensive in Europe and you might want to consider an auto trans with overdrive. I went with a 4R70W for that reason and it also is all electronic with no no throttle cable adjustment to worry about. U.S.Shift (Baumann) sells trans controller kits that are easy to install and come with all the wiring and electronics that you need.
