Hey for the record I'm all in for you to spend your time and $ building something that has never really been done or not by many. It gives us pleasure in reading the threads and seeing what people are capable. I personally love reading those threads and think to myself right from the start I would never do that but at the same time I would if the resources were unlimited, why not?

If you truly engaged in your truck which I think you are much like myself I can totally understand the need to keep the one you got and just replace the power plant.

If it was me i would swap to the v10. More parts are interchangeable between it and the 5.4 and it would be an easier swap. I prefer gas to diesel anyways and after owning one 7.3 it was enough to convince me to stick with my gassers.
