Help ID tranny

Hello fellas. Was given this tranny that came out of friends hot rod. Says it's a late 40s truck unit with synchronized 2-3rd. Was hoping to swap into my F2 so it's easier to deal with in Long Island traffic. Can't seem to find any numbers to ID it except numbers on the right mount ear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently running the stock spur gear 4 speed.

Well, I found through google the number is for mount for 3 speed top loader up to 48 cars and 52 trucks. New question is if I can swap out tail section with 59T and bolt in with minimal grief? Thanks ahead for any inputs

I'd give Vanpelt Sales, Inc. a call. He helped me with seals for my truck and is extremely knowledgeable on trannys. He's in Ohio. 800-299-7496.
