Jacob, get all you can get back. I believe they make more on interest over the year than they do on taxes. That's my humble opinion.

Finishing up putting a rear main in an excavator this morning and then start doing track work on a different one. I have to bring home some tools to fix the Jag this weekend.

Seems like everybody is happy with their taxes. I have been doing a lot of research on the house. Dr9ve over to Macon to look at America's Home Place, they have a log sided house it was a about 400 sqft bigger and a little bit cheaper than the true log home we are considering. We are leaning more toward the log home.

Anytime it's a refund I good with it !!!

The rear main is dragging on since we had to pull the hydraulic pump back out, seal pinched and was leaking oil..

Got that thing finished up this afternoon, glad that is finally done. Not looking forward to the track work on Monday.

Rear mains can be a butt kicker. I got a fuel return line leaking of course it had to be #7 next to the turbo.

Of course it's the hard one.
I took the pool cover off last weekend and I just got done vacuuming it. Ready for summer time!! I need to get a new BBQ grill as the one we have is pretty much junk.

Check Tractor Supply they may have some on clearance.

The fuel leak was not that bad to fix. Just getting to the 2 bolts that hold the glow plug controller In place. Was a pain.

Turned out to be a great day, beautiful weather today. Checked off a few more items on the list. Installed the windshield washer pump, nozzles

and hoses, side view mirrors, seat belts, and finished the radio. Drove around about 80 miles today, and the truck ran great.

I will have to spend a weekend removing everything from the dash, and paint it. Like I have said before, The list just keeps growing, or at least changing.

Thats the plan as of now. Then depreciate them I believe I can do next year.
Ill be writing off more than 30k once monday hits. I have to get my report from Matco.

HAH, funny story. So our matco guy comes on Monday, and throughout his whole route through the week he hits a TON of shops. He gets hit in his newish truck on Tuesday, calls my shop and says he wants us to fix it. Isnt that something?

Looks good at least you are making progress. All I did was fix a fuel leaks. Went out to the land did some more clearing broke the tire rod tube agin. Very cheap metal. We have a machine/welding shop in town I am going to see if the make me a solid once vs the then tube that came on it. Yes I doing things that skid steer or dozer would do better

I try to stay off the tool trucks that come around to the shop, I'm like a kid in a candy store in there. The only thing I could use is some bigger metric impacts to do track work but I'm not getting them off the Mac or Snap on guys.

The truck is coming along great Bob!! I need to get busy on the 79 this summer.

I tried to start the 79 yesterday and no luck, It cranks over but wouldn't fire. I need to figure out what's going on with it.

If I made my living working on cars, trucks, or heavy equipment, I would be broke. Like you said Chief, those trucks are like a candy store. My nephew, who is an AP mechanic with ASA Airlines, spent $1,500.00 for a rolling tool box and how proud he was of the discount he got because it had a scratch on it.
