My front tank won't read. Would the issue be a bobber or something of the sort?

welcome to FTE.
it could be the front float sunk, or a broken wire/loose connection at the front tank, or a bad tank selector switch.

It still pumps fuel out no problem. Just doesn't read

gauge sits on empty? try grounding the wire going to the tank. then it should read full. that will tell you the gauge, switch, and wiring is good and the float is bad.

Probably a dumb question. But, which wire exactly?

The engine pumps the fuel, not the tanks. Fuel delivery has nothing to do with fuel gauge operation. Well, technically they're related in that the selector valve opens/closes which supply feeds the fuel pump. So if it's RUNNING off the front tank, then the selector valve is most likely good.

Grounding the wire will make it read past empty. Disconnecting the wire, opening the circuit, will make it read past full. Here - http://userpages.chorus.net/elephant...nkSelector.pdf - is a diagram of the fuel gauge / senders / selector; this one is for OBS but bricknose are similar enough.
