Have you checked out one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/Power-Magic-P.../dp/B008B8ERIO
I bought a couple of fuse taps to get constant power and switched power in the passenger side fuse compartment. There is also room in that area to mount the power magic box out of the way.
I have a 128gb memory card with a Blackvue camera and it holds about 18 hours of video recording while the inside and out. I've left my truck for almost 24 hours at a time with the camera running on and it has been fine.

yes i do have the back up camera. and i think it is auto dim too, but not sure. i have not driven it at night yet.
as per the delivered equipment sheet i got at ford today, it has"mirror interior rear view[BSB] Electrochromatic mirror- Video Cap[BSBAZO]"
.
for the dash cam, i use the cobra 840 with a 64 gb card and get 59 hours record time.
do you know what the wire color is for the switched power to the mirror?

I added a cam that is designed to be switched on and off with ignition. Here's my thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ew-mirror.html
