then you wouldnt be able to remove the pitman arm while its on the truck unfortunately... a second set of hands really comes in handy for removal and install of the gear box too...

no problem.. if someone hadnt warned me prior to doing it i wouldnt have known... also check out your lines before pulling it... theyre known for rusting stiff.. sometimes its just easier to replace them than reuse them.. i got lucky mine were still pretty free even though the one looks a little nasty...
