FYI... You can't private message (PM) until you have 25 posts. Looks like you should be good to go now.

Also, I agree that the 6.0 cooler would be better, but if you find a screaming good deal on a 7.3 cooler, I wouldn't pass it up.

If you have a ZF, you might consider a tranny mounted PTO pump.

What kind of clearances do I need on the pipes for heat considerations?

You don't need to worry about heat, you will need to worry about engine/body flex and objects rubbing on the pipes. That will cut a hole in them quickly.

If I have to could I run a short piece of 2 inch pipe to get by the pump or is that a dumb idea?

After inspection I "may" be able to run over the pump but it will be close to the liner in the hood. If that cloth stuff brushes the liner will that be ok? Also are the 90degree silicone boots kosher to use? I will need to make some short 90s out of the ic

You'll be fine with 90° silicon elbows, just make sure they are heavy duty ones, not the cheap eBay ones, something capable of holding 40 psi.

I used eBay stainless clamps like the poem ones and have worked great.

You can mock up the piping with pvc pipe then you can fabricate the steel piping just a thought.

Lots of budget builds use them, I'm not sure how long or what kind of boost they are capable of handling.

Are you sure they are "poem" clamps? I don't find any thing called that
