Down under Early Ford V8 National report
I got married a little less than a year ago. I didn't have time or money for a honeymoon then. We got married on a Monday evening. I took Monday and Tuesday off and was back at work on Wednesday. Anyway, we are members of the Early Ford V8 Club which has an outstanding bi-monthly magazine. My (now) wife noticed a notice for a national meet in New Zealand and jokingly suggested we go there for our honeymoon. Long story short (shorter??) we did.
We spent two weeks in NZ. The first was the V8 meet and the second week we went on our own. I'm reporting on the first week. The Kiwi folks in the V8 club were wonderfully friendly. Every day the host club made sure we had an old car back seat to ride in to the club events. We met a lot of great people. Anyway, I'll stop rambling and get to the pictures. I'll stick to posting mostly truck pictures since this is a truck forum. If you want to see more you can view them here.
This panel was particularly interesting since the body looks coach-built

Every car & truck as beautiful as the last & next. I don't know what I expected, but I didn't realize the quantity and quality of the perfectly restored vintage Fords that N.Z. has to offer. Thank you for sharing your Honeymoon pics with us, I really enjoyed them. Oh and congratulations on you Marriage.

Fred,
Congratulations on finally getting to go on your belated honeymoon trip, and thanks for sharing some of your beautiful pictures with all of us. Who knew NZ's natural beauty could be enhanced by so many exceptionally restored Fords. I of course especially liked the red panel.
Blessings as you and your wife begin year 2 of your journey together!
