Whitey gets some love

Yeah, most people just don't realize the care these trucks need to avoid issues.

This will put you on the side of the Interstate. I should have learned from Ruby, but I sorta forgot. Ah well.

You are right. This has been an absolute fun trip gone to a total shiiitte show. I have run the gamut of no start testing and replaced ICP and IPR because all signs pointed to those. No go. Still stuck in El Paso and it SUCKS. After all the testing and going through the chart 5 times, the only thing that is left is the HPOP. I have no test gauge or way to test the Rail pressure until tomorrow or Monday. I am going to be f****** floored if the HPOP is bad at 165k miles. I have just about lost all faith in this truck. This is some serious suck right now. Family in a hotel while I try like a mad mother effer to fix it. It has beeen running so well too but I am starting to feel mcali2 and his pain. All I have done is fix the POs ****ups and I am sick of it. Now I am stranded, family is suffering, and I spent a good 10 hours and still no start. FML and **** this POS truck.

Thanks Mike! I'll do it in the morning when I get back after it. I didn't know you check the actual output.

Also, I don't have a yet gauge, so I pulled a rail plug and cranked it. It barely oozed out of the rail.

With family and little ones, that's the worst!! At least last summer when I broke down I was alone with only my dog to worry about. I could concentrate on the task at hand. Hang in there, been there, done that, don't want to do it again.

Yeah Glenn, I know you've been there for sure. I told myself to get anew HPOP before I left, but I figured it was all good to go. Who knew? At least the family is in a warm hotel room.

I hope not Adam! The mule needs all the love you can give it. I have high hopes we can get Whitey going. The nicest thing will be having a second set of eyes and hands that knows these trucks.

The Mule is also shot, runs but has a blown head gasket so that will be the back up plan.

Also you may want to check the hpop gear bolt. It's a long shot but it's a possibility.
Another quick test would be to hot wire the IPR directly to the battery and have someone start it. If it does start be ready to pull the wires cause it's going to rev wide open.

Unfortunately I think you know the answer to your issue already.
