F150 - HD Truck Similarities?

How many carryover parts do the 2017 HD trucks now have that the 2015+ F150s have already. Has unitized the truck models, apart from suspensions of course, the interiors appear to be identical?

If im correct, was the only manufacturer that had 2 separate lines, the f150 and then f250/350/450's, ram and gm all used the same bodies/interiors just diff suspensions.

I'd say that it looks like the cab and everything in the cab is the same. The floor pan is probably different though.

Everything else is different, the bed, front sheet metal, bumpers, drive train and the frame.

Dodge/Ram and GM used different frames than the 1/2 ton. GM used slightly different front sheet metal.

The interiors are pretty much identical. I know the super duty has an option for auxiliary switches, I can't think of any other interior differences than that (off the top of my head). Beyond the interior, pretty much everything else is different.

A few minor tweaks, glove box, I think the under seat (rear) storage nothing major...at least the SD has as much legroom in the rear as the F150 now

The dash area above the glove box is different.
But from what I read a while back the cab is the same.

I read recently that body wise, they are the same from the base of the "A" pillar to the rear of the cab. There are some trim differences.

If they share the same dash, would it be safe to say the width of the cabs is the same? Im asking because if theres interchangeability of the interior pieces, thats all.

Ford used to use the same cab for both lines but different frames, then split with the Superduty line with separate cab. Now they are back to the same cab but different front clip and heavier frame.
