Lawman, welcome to FTE, the best Ford Truck Forum on the world wide Web!

I can't help you with your request, but we do like COE Trucks here, but you need to show us pictures of your truck.

It was probably posted on another forum and a moderator moved it to the proper one.

This was first posted in the 1947 and under forum, and as said, was moved here. Next thing I'll do is to say welcome and, as always, ask for pictures. Next is the bad news that NOS drums for F-4/5/6s and their COE brothers no longer exist. Finding good used drums, or having drums sleeved, are the remaining options. I'd suggest a phone call to Chuck Mantiglia of Chuck's Trucks to see what he suggests. He's a big truck authority. He will also have your king pins and other suspension/steering pieces. Stu

I learned of these folks. I do not know if they can reline our drums or not. Might be worth a call.

Ozzman are you saying you need new shoes (or the possibility of any existing shoes you have being re-lined) or actual drums?

Ford Truck Parts and Accessories book is showing a '49 F-6 having the same drum right through 1955. I was actually really expecting to find that I had a spare set of your drums but mine are 13" off of a 1955 F-500 and yes, you're correct yours are 14". I really wanted to help out a fellow big truck owner. Sorry.
