Arrow front cover and HPOP question

Good afternoon y'all!

So I recently ordered a 96 front cover for my 94.5. Before you ask, it was super cheap, like almost stolen cheap. (70$ shipped)

Now, from what I've read, I know the engine needs to be pulled to do the swap. No mine is not cracked, I just want the benefits of a newer cover. Now, I know I'll probably need the oil pan, and probably the oil pickup tube, but is there anything else that I would need to modify on the cover for it to work? This is just one of the parts I'm gathering for later on down the road when I do pull the engine for a refresh, and the like.

Second is the 97 HPOP I got. Also for a steal. Same guy I got the injectors from as well, both from a running vehicle, and everything looks pretty good.

Can that be swapped with my current HPOP without any modification? Or would I be better off waiting until I have the 96 front cover on, and using the 97 HPOP as the core for the T500?

From what ive read the hpop cant be used since the 94.5'-95 had the drain valve and you will have drain back issues,

If you swap the the 96-97 cover then you also need the 96-97 hpop and gaskets.
IIRC the pan and pickup are the same

I figured. So I don't need to change to the 96 pickup and pan then? I already have the hpop and gasket. Front cover should be here shortly. In the meantime, ill put my spare ipr in the 95 to keep her going until I can do the swap.

Thanks!

Not yet! I'm out in the field until Saturday. But I did finally break down and get AE, tired of not knowing where my engines disconnect is Right now.

Just ordered the last of the stuff I'll need for the E-fuel minus the steel to mount the pump and filters on. Couple more fittings and some gasoila thread sealant.

Probably going to gave to go to tractor supply for that steel bracket for the steel.

Will have that build posted on my build thread as that comes along.
