Died in the carwash

Not an F-150 but my 03 Gran Marquis. Drive thru carwash with the underside spray. Engine off during wash, started and got about halfway through the blower and it stumbled and died. Cranks but won't fire. Any clues? I'm assuming something that got sprayed from underneath. Cam position sensor?

Could be anything like that, Cam or Crankshaft sensor....not sure if these have all COPs or Coil packs? they may have gotten too wet?....check relays and fuses for the ignition and fuel and grounds.

Still on the trailer and still snowing so I haven't had a chance to look. Doubt if it's the coils, top of engine didn't get wet. I'm just not real familiar with the 4.6 and thought some of my FTE brothers might shed some light on what's under the engine that could get sprayed and fail. Thanks

The high pressure spray could have caused the plug to lose contact with the crank sensor.
It is behind the crank pulley and behind the A/C compressor area on the passenger side .
First way to check is no spark at cranking and low or no fuel pressure.
If none, get under the car and pull the plug off and reset it back on the sensor.
Every engine function begins from the crank sensor reference point.
Good luck.
