whats causing the light to be on? If you disconnect the battery, then press the horn for 30 seconds and leave the battery dissconnected it'll reset all the codes. Sometimes long enough to get inspection done. If I can help let me know
The cam phasers are throwing the codes. I have hooked up the diagnostic tool and reset the codes. They come back within 10 minutes. I was told they are 'hard' codes that cant be reset to bypass an issue.
Ill try the battery thing and see what happens. That would be a cool trick..Would it show a system reset? NC cant do inspections if the computer hasnt done a full cycle which they say is normally within 50 miles.

YouTube won't let you download their stuff free----at least no way that I've discovered. I purchased a nice screen recording software downloadable utility that was originally designed for gamers. Once configured it will capture everything on your screen--assuming you're using a desktop PC---so you can surreptitiously "record" whatever is playing. Look for BandiCam; its not free but its a forever thing, comes in handy quite a bit for me.
