What model is the cluster from? There was a change in the font on the F500-up trucks in 1970-'79 compared to the '67-'69 model big truck clusters.

'67-'69 gauges on top. '70-'72 gauges on the bottom.

Instrument cluster style seen in '73-'79 Ford big trucks.

It is the 70-72 cluster. I should have been more detailed in my post. Thanks ultraranger. I plucked the cluster out of a 70 F600 roofing truck. The owner said take what you need.

TWO different types of vacuum gauges:

D0TZ-2557-A .. Brake Air Pressure Gauge / Marked: D0TF-2557-A / Obsolete ~ No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Applications: 1970/72 F600/750 & C600/900; 1973/74 F600/880 & C600/900; 1975 F600/880 & C600/900 before serial number V40,001.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D0TZ-2A036-A .. Brake Vacuum Gauge / Obsolete ~ No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Applications: 1970/74 F500/750 & C500/900; 1975 F500/750 & C500/750 before serial number V40,001.

Note: In 1975 from serial number V40,001, Ford replaced both these D0TZ gauges with 1975 gauges (D5TZ-2557-B & D5HZ-2A036-A = Obsolete, but both are available NOS).

Lower pic from 1964/72 catalog showing both types of vacuum gauges as: 2557 & 2A036 / 17360 on the right side of the cluster is a tach.

I have two clusters just like the one you have pictured. I used to have two clusters that had the vacuum gauge in them.

This one (in the fore ground) that resides in Florida now.

And this one that went to California.

Around '78, the big truck instrument clusters went from the hardwire connections to a printed circuit cluster. This is a printed circuit cluster I pulled from a '78 F600 fire truck. This cluster went to Connecticut.

...printed circuit on the back of this '78 F600 cluster.

I did an internet search but, all I can locate is an NOS pressure gauge but no listings for an NOS or used vacuum gauge for one of these instrument clusters. Good luck in your search in locating one.

Nice clusters ultrastang. Those vacuum gauges are scarce as chicken lips. I found other vacuum gauges for cheap, but are 2-5/8". I may settle for one until a factory one floats up. A NOS unit sold on ebay recently for $59. I didn't see that one.

That's usually the way it goes. If you're not looking for something at the moment, they're everywhere. The instant you are on the hunt for something, it can't be found.

Be prepared for "sticker shock!"

D5HZ-2A036-A: Call Bob Allen first, then whatever Green Sales wants should be much cheaper. Allen is a snake, wants MEGA-BUCKS for obsolete parts!

Ford website has prices listed for D5HZ-2A036-A (Last MSRP: $209.40 / Dealer net cost: $125.64) but none for D5TZ-2557-B

'Course you really won't know 'how much' until you call.

D5TZ-2557-B: Call Green first, Koehn may be cheaper, since they are STUCK with it.

I have one coming from Green sales to the tune of $142 delivered. Bob Allen was out of stock. I know it was for a hefty price, but to me it's worth it. Thanks again NumberDummy!!

Is it a 3,500 RPM version or a 4,000 RPM version?

I am not sure as to the rpm, but either way I will modify it for 4 cyl input to slow the tach by half. I received the vacuum guage yesterday and it looks awesome.

I may be off here, but I thought rigging it for a 4 cylinder would double it. The tach getting twice the signals per revolution. In either case, you going to send it some place to have the graduations on the face of the tach changed also? Like a factory looking 6000 RPM tach.
