2016 F-350 6.7 Constant power from dome light
#2
Dome light is not constant power. Power there turns off a few minutes after ignition is turned off. Power ports (cigarette lighters) are.constant power. Upfitter switch wires are on only when ignition is on.
Pretty easy to use tiny zip tie to attach wire to center clip of sun visor, then to the swivel of sun visor. Then remove rubber door seal starting at bottom, or just pull away. This exposes gap between head liner and metal cab. Air bag is in there but easy to keep wire out of its path. Run down door post to side dash entry area or further down to emergency brake kick panel.

There is likely a power feed going to the automatic rear-view mirror..... If you have the push button lights in the headliner, those should be hot all the time too. Lastly, if you have the lighted visors, you should be able to get at the wire where it attaches to the truck at the swivel. You'd have to disassemble to get to it.
