1. are the old pumps rebuildable or worth rebuilding
2. can I take a 351 or another engines ps pump and put it on a 302?
3. Would it be better to get a newer pump from a van or truck that might be more powerful

obviously I know nothing about ps pumps so any help would be appreciated
What did you do for the oil pan on your 68 302 ?

I got a rear sump pan from eBay for a mid 70s van. It had the dipstick in the side of the pan

All 1975/96 Econoline I-6 & V8 (gas) have a rear sump oil pan.

But they're not the same pans. At some point, as in with the Foxbody Mustang pans, Ford moved the dipstick to a hole in the block.
