Broke radiator drain plug

I broke my radiator drain plug got a replacement but how does the stock one come out? Is there a clip or something?

Never mind I'm dumb just gota pull a little harder

Yeah got it to thread out with a small chisel but it stopped and wasn't sure if there was a clip or something I had to push on to get it out and didn't want to break off a small piece in there gave it a little harder pull and came right out the Dorman one is a better design than the stock one.

Just be glad its a Ford, the chevy/gmc drain plugs are nearly imposible to get to and when you open them antifrezze splatters all over the frame suspension componets making a big freakin mess, having to use a kids pool just to catch the coolant is no fun.

Yeah cause then the kids start complaining about not having their pool, then they're standing around the truck asking when you'll be done, then they run in the house yelling "MOM, DAD STOLE OUR POOL AGAIN" and the wife is out next to nag and then she see's the mess in the driveway and it's yah yah yah that truck yah yah yah.............................your right no fun

Not 100% sure. But I think you have done that before. Maybe once or twice.
