Assembled before disassembly........

Quick project update. Spent most of the winter so far getting the panel gaps and fits right. Just the hood to cowl left to do. Will be removing the bed and front clip this weekend and once nood to cowl is done the cab will come off ready for engine, transmission rebuild and frame completion. Some progress photos -

Very nice work. Henry would be proud. Can you imagine trying to do that on an assembly line.
regards Bruce

Always love the first mockup, makes you feel like that pile of parts just may be a truck again. Looking good! Keep up the fine work...

Front clip off....

Having made a dolly to help move the front clip around the shop, time to remove and get on with the next phase.

Now to finish off the hood to cowl gaps then strip down to frame, engine and trans rebuild.

Very nice work there. Your wheel / tire fit in the fender openings looks spot on. Great attention to detail!

Interested in the FFR listed in your sig line too. I have a Mk1 Roadster.

Thanks for positive comments, appreciated. The FFR is a MKII finished 2010. I'm running a built 306. Fully balanced rotating assembly, Trick Flow heads and Edelbrock RPM intake with QFT carb. MSD distributor and ignition. T5 transmission with 8.8 LSD 3.55 rear end.
A bucket full of fun!!! Check out hundreds of photos in the link.

How do you like the Scotts IFS set up? I still haven't finally made up my mind on which IFS I am going to install so any input is welcome.
