2017 F-250 Pricing

We are looking at a travel trailer that weighs 6,000 lbs loaded and need more truck. My 2010 F-150 2WD STX is almost ready to retire and not capable of towing that much weight. Wife and I test drove a new 2017 F-250 4x4 XLT today with FX4, 6.2, XLT Premium PKG, Navigation, FX4, Electronic shift, Power sliding rear window, Powerscope trailer tow mirrors, BLIS, Upfitter switches, HD alternator, Remote start, tailgate step, ultimate trailer tow camera, 3.73 locking axle, and LT275/70R18E All Terrain tires. The wife really liked the truck and wouldn't even look at a F-150 after the test drive! List with total options and including delivery $52,610 without any discounts or incentives. It wasn't the color I wanted but had all the equipment I think I need. We didn't negotiate price at the dealership but the salesman called tonight and offered $2615 discount. I was expecting at least $6K-10K off....What should I expect to pay?

Most seem to be able to get invoice - rebates. Dealer should tell you invoice price if you ask. Rebates are currently $1000 where I live.

My guess is that would make you $4000 to $4500 under msrp. +ttl

been answered a lot on a bunch of pricing threads but most people with all incentives have been getting around 10% off msrp. So for you around $47,500 give or take or $5200 off. Don't expect 6-10k off with a brand new in demand truck. Expect around invoice minus incentives.

Join EAA and get their x plan pricing (basically invoice). Or if you have AMA you can call them and get their code.

Thanks! Haven't purchased anything new since 2010 when I bought my F-150. Dealer gave 20% discount + tax +tag... no dealer prep... times have changed....

I looked at one almost identical yesterday. He offered me the truck for 47k plus I get 5k fleet discount on superdutys. So almost 10k off msrp but not many get fleet discounts like that.

You could probably get 20% in September if you can wait during model year change over.

Good deal for both you and the dealer.... I imagine he still made $8-10K profit... I used to work for Ford long time ago. If necessary, I'll wait and shop for a 2017 when the 2018's come rolling out....

The dealer had about 20 F-250's on the lot... There's another Ford dealer 50 miles away that still has new 2016 F-250's in stock... When I sold Fords, we took skinny deals on the last day of the month.... I'm in no rush and since I keep my vehicles 7-10 years, waiting on the 2018's to arrive to save 10K or more on a 2017 is worth the wait.....

I agree with you here. Back in 08 I got around 20% off. Now its lucky for 10%.

I got invoice minus incentives and was happy.
