Question...of course I didn't read the entire manual yet...but...with the security system the way it came, can I leave my dog in the truck when I shut it, lock it and take the key? He moves between the front two seats and over the hump only. Will the sensors inside go off with the dog moving around and make the horn honk? If so....is there a setting that can turn off the inside sensors when I do choose to leave him in there....windows cracked/cool weather only. And it is just to run in and out of store in less then 5 minutes. Thanks all.
When you turn off the truck, there is a menu in that pops up on the dash about all sensors or external--use the arrows on the steering wheel to select the external only.
It seems to always default to "ALL" choose the other if the dog is in there.. or anything else that might move around.. I tried to reset the alarm about 9 times because my Irish Setter kept changing windows to see where I was.. LOL..
Perimeter is for all the doors/hood/tail gate and all adds the inside 4 ultrasonic motion censors (look like little lights or speakers) there on the above panel, dogs will set those off. you can even test them by arming it with a window down and waving your hand
Thanks ss....I knew where the sensors were since it was beat to death on here. This was the first day I wanted to leave my dog in the truck and rememberd the chance of the motion going off. Now I see where to disarm.
