What is the correct "factory" 4bbl intake and carb?
What was the correct 4bbl intake manifold and carburetor used in 1969 on a F250 camper special? I want stock parts and look including the manual choke.
The truck originally was a 360 with 2bbl Autolite 2100 with manual choke.
I'm looking for info on casting #'s and carb model etc.
Thank you!!

So no matter what engine or truck build in 69 had a 4bbl until 74? humm, so even if my truck had came originally equip with a 390 it would have had the same 2100 2bbl and intake manifold I already have with the 360?

Find a 1965/71 passenger car with a FE engine and 4V manifold/carb. But, be aware this iron manifold weighs at least 75 lbs.
ALL 1965/73 F100/350's with FE engines came with an 2100 series 2V carb. 1974 F100/350 360/390 would have a 2100 series 2V or if a 390, a Holley 4V was optional.
1975/76 F100/350 360/390 would have a 2150 series 2V carb or if a 390, a Holley 4V was optional.
390's were not factory installed in 1968/76 F100/250 4WD's.

Correct. Ford wasn't worried about speed or high reving pickups. They were more in to durability and torque. Back then usually pickups were work horses, station wagons pulled trailers, and cars were the daily drivers.

Thanks everybody, I'm just going to stick with what I have already that was stock on the 360. I wasn't going for high performance, just rebuilding a tired 360. I scored a 390 crank and was going to turn the 360 to a 390 and just thought I grab the stock 4bbl stuff and well since that was not an option I will leave it at that. I thought 4bbl was an option as I've seen so many in the wrecking yard with them (years never verified) but I'm sure people likely had swapped them out over the years.
I know aftermarket would be the way to go, just want to keep my truck stock.

Check the LIST # on the carb, and the venturi size on the side of the carburetor and bounce it off the shop manual, it will indicate the correct size carburetor for your application. After several decades the carburetor may have been swapped out several times, no telling what's on there now.
