06 E-350 Lift

Hi guys, long time driver, first time poster!

I am looking to lift my '06 e-350 regular wheelbase 3"-4". I was wondering if anyone knew the most affordable way to go about it.

I am not set on doing it in any specific way, as long as the body ends up being lifted. Would love to hear from people about what they have done, how it worked, etc...

Thanks a lot

Two popular options are the Camburg and Weldtec Designs kits. I've got a Camburg kit on mine and like it a lot.

Weldtec lift

I ordered the 4inch lift from Weldtec this week. My plan is to write a build thread once completed. So far, Jeremy has been wonderful. The ordering process has been very smooth. Keep in mind, you're not ordering from a big company that has several people answering the phones. He will call you back and answer any question you may have.
My reason for the lift is to improve the ride. I have such horrible back problems I'm no longer able to even ride as a passenger in my 20k mile van. I've owned it since new and its never been in an accident.

More to come....

Still wanting the Cadillac ride from that commercial grade truck, eh?

is the kit a body lift or suspension lift? I can't imagine a body lift would make an iota difference in ride comfort. I hope you got a suspension lift with very soft springs.

What kind of back pain pain do you have? I've been dealing with lumbar pain for nearly 20 years. No issues with driving though. What's your pain?

Would you mind spelling out in detail exactly what you dislike about your van's discomfort?

Agreed, I'm not seeing a lift improving ride comfort at all. Just my opinion, if you're looking for a van that has a smoother ride go with an E150 and work with that. I have a E150 and a E250 and the ride difference is night and day.
