Intermittent problem so assuming it's not a fuse. Locks work though so not sure if its a loose connection. Anybody know if this is a common problem and have any suggestions where to look before I start tearing it apart? Thanks in advance.

 

I have seen switch failures but that normally only affects one window. I have also seen broken wires in the door harness.

 

what window(s) doesn't work? reason i ask is it's common for the contacts to go bad in the master switch which can affect the other switches.

 

My driverside window goes down fine, but when it is cold it will not go up without manual assistance. I find this to be a good thing, as I don't go through drive-in restaurants during winter. And if I do I don't roll the window all the way down. This has been happening on 2006 F150 for many years. I have learned to live it.

 

Replaced driver window assembly motor and all once . It gets the most use , gets opened in the rain most . Easy fix .
