F250 Payload Sticker Request

F250 Payload Sticker Request
Guys (and gals), due to several reasons, I may be pulling up my purchase instead of waiting a couple years for a new truck. In order to do that, I'm trying to get what I NEED in a truck (plus a few goodies) while stripping out what I don't need. I'm thinking a fairly basic F250 Lariat with the Value Package (the few goodies that I don't NEED) instead of the loaded F350 King Ranch that I would like to have.
I'm thinking, since the F250 and F350 are essentially the same truck with a different axle, why not stick with the F250 to save $1k? I'm not a weight ****, but I would like to get a bit better payload than the 1999 lbs. that I've got on my current F250.
So, my question is, will you guys with F250 crew cab diesel trucks post up some pics of your payload stickers? Or just the available payload number. Preferably folks with basic Lariat or loaded XLT trucks since we know the moon roof and other goodies add a lot of weight. I'm sure there are lots out there in the various payload threads, but weeding through those for what I'm looking for is time consuming.
Thanks for all your help! I'm pretty stoked about having a new truck for the upcoming camping season, but trying to pinch my pennies and stretch them as far as possible and not getting what I WANT can be frustrating.

Shipping weight for such a truck is 7023# on the invoice. Just ran out to a Lariat Ultimate in stock and payload was 2147#. Granted that's a well equipped one. I don't know that you'll get too much more out of an F250. The truck isn't the limiting factor at all, it's the 10k rating to keep em under commercial figures.

Thanks for the help so far folks! I was hoping to pick up 3-400 lbs, which sounds like that may be right where I would be, or maybe just a hair under.
Now, is that enough or do I just spring the extra $1k for the 350. I know the truck is not the limiting factor, but the 10k rating is, which is why I'm thinking just get the 250 and be done with it. Decisions, decisions!

I would do the 350 if I could do it again. $1k is worth it, now if it was more I would say no not worth it. Small price for something you will probably keep a long time and have a more than enough payload (around 3500lbs). I'm not the weight police but I like my stickers to at least be a little close to what I am doing and for $1k to have more than enough, totally worth it.

Have not seen my payload sticker yet but I know that a F250 diesel with HD tow package gets the Dana M275 with stabilizer bar, same rear axle in the F350. Because its a heavier axle and the 250's GVWR is limited to 10k lbs the payload sticker will be less, even though the truck is more capable with the upgraded axle.
If your not a scale **** then maybe you can squeeze what you need out of a carefully built F250.

Thanks everyone! I'm still torn. F250 will be just fine for the fiver we have now, but if the wife decides she wants to upgrade in a few years... Probably just need to spring for the F350 and be done with it. It's only money, right?
You'll be fine on payload with the 6.2L. Add 700 lbs to the diesel numbers to give you the gas payload number. If I was going 6.2L and didn't NEED the F350 for payload, I'd definitely get the F250 for the transmission.
