AD (or AB) code injectors will run identically to each other. Also, split-shot injectors on stock single shot tuning will run a bit weaker than stock AA or A0 injectors because the pulse width needs to be longer to get the same amount of fuel in the cylinder; the nozzles are the same size between all of the aforementioned injectors.
IIRC there's another sticker with the PCM code on the in-cab end, you can see by unbolting the parking brake pedal/release assembly and moving it aside.

I have a federal Pcm with Cali strategy running AB splits.. Your best bet is having your truck pluged in at Ford and you'll get this. It'll tell you what the pcm is set up for.
Is your engine a reman ? I had a reman jasper in an 03 that had AD, AB and AA injectors in it.
It could be. When I bought the pickup it said 350,000 miles. A lot could have happened in 350,000. Is there a way to tell if it is a reman or at least not the original engine?
