fuel tank selector relay

After much digging around on this site I think that I found the part number for the fuel tank selector relay F8PZ-14N135-AA, Car Quest has one in stock, their part number is R647P. My question is does anyone have any experience with this particular relay, and/or are there better choices.

Thanks for all of your help on this forum

If you punch that number ("R647P relay") in a google search, a lot of people sell that relay. It's a general purpose relay, Ford must have used it for several different things through the years.

You did the hard part, you found the crossover number.

FOCZ-2C013-A .. Relay / Available from Ford.

FOCZ-2C013-A replaced: F8PZ-14N135-AA; E1UZ-13A435-A; E3AZ-9345-A; E3FZ-9345-B & D; F19Z-9345-A; E3AZ-9C392-A and a gazillion other part numbers too numerous to list.

Just came back from local Ford dealer, the number that NumberDummy posted FOCZ-2C013-A did not come up in the dealers system at all, he was very pleasant and apologetic about the issue but did not have any answers either, so I will be getting the R647P and try that.
I really appreciate all of the help and info on this forum

The Ford D2D (Dealer to Dealer-Ford Dealer Parts Locator System) website lists FOCZ-2C013-A as replacing F8PZ-14N135-AA and a gazillion other part numbers.

Tell the dealer to type F8PZ-14N135-AA into this system (EVERY US dealer uses it), then click on Supersession.

After you type the part number on the D2D and click on LOCATE, it will appear on the left side of the page.

Look directly below it ~ Supersession .. click on this puppy....then a page will pop up.

Then be prepared, cuz if you initially typed F8PZ-14N135-AA .. you will see a gazillion replaced part numbers on this page.

The last number is the replacement part number: FOCZ-2C013-A

I wooda made a pic, then posted it, but I don't see "file" on the D2D page.
