Tie Rod Boots

A few months ago I completely rebuilt the front end of my F150 using Moog and Energy Suspension parts. Well one of the boots on the center link ripped. I am puzzled as to why. After contacting Moog and not receiving a response, I have been searching for a replacement boot. I used a Help section boot that had to be cut. It seems to kinda work. I have done quite a bit of searching and do not see a replacement boot listed anywhere. Does anyone know where I can get a nice replacement boot?

Maybe not your size and you will have to remove the end but they are out there.

Yeah as far as I know, Moog doesn't offer a replacement boot. I used a dust boot from the "Help!" Section in the past as well. But I ended up changing the tie rod end anyway.

You may see if you can warranty the tie rod through Moog.

Something like those from Summit look good and could be better, but no one seems to list them as fitting our trucks.

I thought about trying to warranty out the psrt, but it was purchased online. It would just be a huge hassle for something small. If I had bought it from a store, I'd exchange it.

You should be able to warranty the tie rod end or grease the end a lot to keep crap out.
