Howdy from Arkansas
I'm Chief from Arkansas - Native American - never lived anywhere else and was born here. Makes me a native, friends, along with 300,000,000 more Americans.
I'm not politically correct, I'm not liberal, and I'm outspoken but not critical.
The first Ford I rode in was a Model T that my brother had - updraft carb on a 4-cyl. This was a pickup, had no heater you could find in Kansas winters, and would carry a huge load of cottontails in the winter.
The first one I owned was a 1952 flathead V8. Second was a 63 1/2 Falcon with a 170 c.i.d. six, standard 3 speed and little usable power (I once had to turn around and back up a mountain in the Smokies (on Highway 64) because the car wouldn't pull the hill even in 1st gear). Next was a 1965 F100 240 c.i.d. six, 3sp standard. Then a '96 F150 5.0 auto that I ran for 332,000 miles plus before trading for a 2011 F150 3.7 six-speed auto. Been around Fords since I was a kid, a LONG time ago.
