Hello from Warsaw, Poland

Greetings
My name is Marcin I'm 26 and I come from Warsaw, Poland.
Last autumn I bought Ford F-250 from 1984 with 6.9 IDI engine. It's a rare truck here in Eastern Europe.
I've got a plenty of work with this motor. The cab and bed are rusty. The electricity is in bad shape (there's an issue with glow plugs and many other problems...). But I think I should handle with it.
I bought it in town of Suwałki. Former owner imported it from Germany in 2012.
Here's a photo of the truck taken day after the transaction.

Regards,
Marcin

Dzień dobry Marcin!! Jak się masz? We are happy to have you in the Ford truck family. There are many helpful people here, ask any questions you may have.

My 8 year old daughter & I have been trying to learn some Polish for a few years, but it is not easy.

Here is a picture of my Ford truck, a 1979 F150.

Witaj Scott, wszystko w porządku!
Indeed, polish is very hard language to learn. I respect foreigners who learn it
Even we poles sometimes have problems with grammar.
Nice and tidy motor you have. It must be in real good condition.

Welcome to FTE Marcin. For the age of the truck besides rust, it looks to be in fair condition.

Thank you

Generally truck isn't in bad condition. It rolls, brakes, and has working lights
The only thing that puzzle me is coolant leak. The are no puddles under the engine. I should have more free time in next week, so I'll start searching the problem.
Also there is huge backlash on the steering wheel. The parking brake isn't working and many other smaller problems.

I hope it's gonna be fun to repair it.
I remember my first car - 1980 Mercedes-Benz 240D (the one at the avatar). That was total piece of scrap. It broke down on the road home from previus owner (just after the town of Starachowice). I've been burning the midnight oil repairing it and now it works like a dream.

I can see that FTE is great mine of knowledge about "Bullnoses". I'm glad to be here.
Here's additional photo of my Ford:
