I got my interior steel plate installed and did a little better job center the rod. It's not perfect put I think it is close enough to work. My plate isn't as elaborate and awesome looking as the other guy that posted on my thread but I don't see any firewall flex. My plate is just over a 1/8 thick. Hopefully between the interior and exterior firewall plates I have enough metal to keep the flex down. I'm now going to tackle installing my freshly rebuilt zf5 in my truck now 👍🏻

I appreciate any help I can get. I will probably pick your guys brains when I do a 4bt or 6bt swap out. Will a 6bt adapter plate work with a 4bt? Thanks Shayne

Judging by the oem firewalls I've seen that had the hydraulic master on them, that huge plate seems way excessive. But, it is better to have too much rigidity than too little. You did a nice job. Well done.

@ShayneB seriously, I'd love to have you fab one up to sell me. I have looked around the aftermarket and obviously havent found anything. However, I spoke with ModernDriveline.com about their "LF series hydraulic conversion." Bruce, the owner, said that if I could provide him with the proper information, they can produce one. He said he would give it to me for the help. Honestly gentlemen, I'm a super noob and am having trouble figuring out how to get my dash off to install the pedal assembly. Would anyone else be able to contact them? I have the pedal assembly, transmission, new clutch and flywheel but I have no way of fabbing up the pedal/master cylinder linkage properly.
LF (light foot) from Modern Driveline.

It really isn't to bad of a swap to change your brake pedal with a brake / clutch pedal. 6 bolts on the engine side of the firewall that holds vacuum / master cylinder on and 4 bolts under the dash that holds the brake pedal assembly on. After unbolting your pedal assembly move your steering and column out of the way and the pedal assembly will come out. The fab work isn't too bad on the brake / clutch assembly. Here is a pretty crude drawing that I did to mock mine up. I cut off the mechanical attachment and weld an 1 3/4" arm to space it further from the old pivot point. Than took the piece that I cut off and brought it down 2 1/2". After I welded it up I bolted the pedal assembly in the truck. I than marked a spot on the firewall attempting to center the clutch master cylinder rod. My distance from the firewall to my new clutch pedal attachment is 5 3/8. I used a stock 1991 f250 clutch master cylinder . I just pulled my c6 and np205 out of my truck yesterday. I will take pictures. If you lived closer I could help you with your set up.😜

It is always interesting to see how others but in a hydraulic clutch. I used an existing hole in the fire wall to the outside of the brake booster where some plugs came out. None were plugged into anything so I just pulled them inside the cab and wrapped them up into the rest of the wiring harness. I then welded a bolt to the side of the clutch pedal. Works perfectly.

I have a '74 F350, wanted to do mine like yours ShayneB but my booster is in the way. 78 PEB what master cylinder are you running? I saw the pics on your build, might work for me if I'm not to close to the exhaust on my V8

I'm using the stock 1978 f250 4x4 master cylinder. I'm still running drums in the back. It will bolt right up. I'm sorry it took me so long to respond, I never got a ping on my Email.

I like your system, but I'm unclear as to how the pedal in the floor connects to the pivot on your bracket. Could you please post a pic or two of that? Thx.
