Cool. I used that console between my 70 Mach 1 bucket seats with TMI Sport foams and upholstery. It needed to be raised up a couple inches because it sat too low for my taste.

junkyard parts

Brian1971f100 we all know that Ford interchanged parts from one truck to another to keep the cost down. the console that i have i took out of a 90,s Ford extended cab. it was the only thing left. even the dash was gutted.

Weather permitting, my friend with the '72 F100 and I are going to hit the wrecking yard this Saturday.

I spotted a couple a 3.25 geared Traction-Lok 9-inch Dentside rear ends when we were at the wrecking yard a couple of months back. There was also about 5 sets of Dentside F100/F150 front discs/suspensions there too, 3 or 4 Bumpside trucks and several Bullnose trucks all with various parts on them.

Oh yeah? If one of those Bumps is a 67/69 with decent "Camper Special" emblems on it, grab 'em for me please.

I'll keep that in mind when there --if we don't get rained out before then or on the day of. The weather forecast has been calling for a chance of rain all this week and all the way into next week, 20% chance on Saturday and a high of 68°. It's been like springtime here the last week or so. It was 76° here today.

Hmmm....now that I think about this, I know where a '68 F250 Camper Special is just 4 or 5 miles up the road from me. I robbed a brake booster/brackets off of it and a left hand horn. I'll have to take a look and see if the Camper Special emblems are still on it and if they're intact (not broken).

Plans got scrapped (wives are good at changing YOUR plans). I won't be able to make it to the wrecking yard this weekend but, told my buddy we would have to schedule again in the coming weeks to go junkin'.

Actually, it's to go look at a truck for son version 2.0 that's 3 hours away. I would almost rather take a good ol' country butt whoppin' than to have to make that trip but, I'll do it anyway.
