Ideas to check

Last month I started getting a turbo fart. It wasn't often but it was new noise. Everything it led to the unison ring. Today, I pulled off the turbo cleaned and installed a new unison ring. I did have some pitting on the both sides and spent a considerable amount of time cleaning. I put anti-seize on everything the vanes touched. When I put it back together, the truck sounded like normal at idle and the slightest throttle it sounded like it had a leak. I pulled the turbo again, and verified all the clamps were right and again it still has the noise. I know that something was going on because my VGT cycle was never about 55 and now it idles around 79. Is there anything easy that I am missing?

As long as you buttoned it back up properly 79 VGT is not bad you don't want 85 , have you checked the EBP and tube ? Also map to intake the threaded nipple gets clogged, double check the hose too for cracks , how's your CAC boots .
