my dads truck has has a bad turn signal switch for a while (wouldn't self cancel). well after a year or so lately his wipers wont park when turned off. they just stop anywhere. so I replaced the multi function switch this evening. that fixed the turn signals but did not fix the wipers. they work, they just don't park , you have to play with them to get it right.

suggestions on next step or any ideas on the problem?

I'd try something simple - turn the wipers on and spray some wd-40 around the base **** where the wipers clamp on to just in case they're just dry/gritty/dirty

can take the wiper arms off to do it (should be a tab you pull back and lift the while wiper arm off)
