2017 F250 Bed?

How strange would a bed from a '17 look on a '06? I know the body lines are a bit different, but do you all think they're too different to look decent?

Yeah it'll look ridiculous. Please don't do that.

That's where I found it (CL) $1,700. It was actually cheaper than a bed from a '10-'16

That doesn't surprise me. Probably not much market for a '17 bed yet. The 10-16 will fit all the way back to '99, while the '17 bed fits all the way back to...August.

Fitment was going to be my next question had there been anyone that thought it wouldn't look ridiculous.

They are take offs but I'm a little confused because I thought if someone bought a truck for utility they would get a cab and chassis?

They probably wanted the additional options that you can't get with a cab & chassis, so they order what they want and pull the bed and install their preferred box.

I don't think you'd be able to fit even if you wanted to. EVERYTHING is different in the '17 models...the wheelbase isn't even the same. I'm fairly certain it wouldn't bolt on without some modification, and then you'd have issues if you didn't properly insulate the aluminum from any steel fab work you do.

So it can be done? Did you have to modify the bed at all?
