2005 6.0 Excursion turbo bark & no codes

Hello new to Ford-Trucks
I've got a 2005 Ford excursion that I have we recently installed ARP head studs, o'ring Ported & polished heads with factory gaskets. Also installed HPOP, rebuilt oil rails, bulletproof diesel remote oil cooler, driven diesel regulated return, fast 125 fuel system, and a bunch of other stuff.

The truck starts up like a champ .89 to 1.5 seconds hot or cold. And will monitoring the VGT it starts out 85 to 66 % and slowly drops to 15% and stays there. Key on whine off Map is 14, BP is 14, Baro is 30 mm/hg. At idle map: 14.9, BO:17.5, baro: 30.

Will running truck builds boost really fast and lifting gas slow are fast will cause the turbo to fart/stall/bark or what ever.

Using a Snapon Modis.

Thank you for your help

Not sure on what you're hearing, but good chance it's normal. Not sure what all you did to truck and what it had done to it before, but maybe it either wasn't healthy or had stock exhaust and intake before and you just didn't notice it as much. Check this thread out.

Maybe I'm saying it wrong. The truck didn't do it before. It builds boost way to fast under a load. If memory serves me right the VGT % at idle should be around 70 to 85% not 15% which I believe is max boost.

I've never heard someone complain about an engine building boost too quickly before!

I can't help with you with the vgt stuff, no idea, but I'm sure the 6.0 forum gurus can.
