2001 f350 4x4 dually 7.3 powerstroke, I recently replaced the hub assembly, stub shaft and seal, u joint , ball joints on the front drivers side and now periodically the truck makes a grinding growling vibration coming from front drivers side and stops after hitting a bump, anyone got any ideas for what might be the problem

 

my gut response is you didn't get something assembled right. Or perhaps a new part has failed. It could be something rubbing on a rotating assembly that gets dislodged after you hit the bump. I would inspect my rebuild looking for the culprit.

 

The last time my front end was growling was a hub assembly gone bad.

You might have a bad hub assembly or possibly not enough grease on the inner needle bearing. Just my .02

 

or a loose nut on the shaft end.
