2015 interior colors

Are charcoal and black two different interior colors in 2015 for lariat f350 diesel models? My window sticker shows black as the color but an interior part I need comes up as charcoal. I'm not sure if they are one and the same or not.

I want visor with homelink part number BC3Z-2504105-GB which lists as $300. FC3Z-2504105-GB is a number it replaces and is only $80 and listed as charcoal.

Thanks.

I think Ford did start calling it charcoal instead of black.

Thanks. I saw your post before you edited it. You see the part number says with mirror and homelink. For $65? How can that be if the other one is $330. No real pictures I can find of the "F" part number.

Found a few pictures and another post on another site where a member bought this visor as a replacement to the original one with Car2U, and it worked great, in a 2015 350. Looks like I'm buying this one! FC3Z-2504105-GB

Well not sure if anyone will be able to find this thread given the subject, but I thought I'd follow up.

The new visor came and works great, and yes, it is HomeLink and not Car2u, and for only $80 delivered!

It literally SHOULD have taken 5 minutes, but the connector for the harness was above the headliner, about 3" behind where the visor mounts, so I had to pull the door seal, and reach between the roof and headliner and work blind. The wire and connector are fastened to the headliner with sticky foam mats, so I had to pull that back to get the connector free, disconnect, then connect the new one, all while not being able to see anything. It is easy, but you just need to be patient when working in the headliner.

Once done, it took me about 5 minutes to program my 3 garage doors. So nice to have that feature back!

Is the Homelink self-contained within the visor and only needs power, or does the truck need to be "reprogrammed" for the Homelink to work?

My truck didn't come with Homelink and only has the lighted vanity mirrors, so it would be a nice addition.

HomeLink is self contained in the visor. You only need power. There is no programming of the truck required, only programming the HomeLink to your garage door.

What JS said. Literally one connector, same one as the visor with the lighted mirror only has. Just plug the new visor in, screw it back to the headliner, and program away. And the programming instructions are in the owner's manual.
