That it is... but I am a driver too...my parents almost always drove so I do the same... Got used to it as a kid...and it just translates...I like playing games with the gps... gps says arriving in 15 hrs... I see an achievable goal of being there in less... its about 50/50 on whether I beat the goal..

 

I do the same with the kids. We have contest on how long it will take. I tell them how far, and how fast we're going, and they pick a time. We add on if I have to stop for gas or pee breaks.
