yeah...actually 65 right now... but its dropping to 50 by 5 pm tonight and then freezing rain all weekend.

 

They are saying we could get a 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice Sunday night into Monday morning. That should make the drive in fun on Monday.

Indy RV show is ending this week end. I was planning on going but I am going to play it by ear.

 

Good morning guys. They have issued a winter storm warning for Omaha, Sunday through Tuesday morning. 1/4-1/2 inch of ice, before turning to snow. If that's the case, I'll be staying home Monday!

 

And we have gone silently into hibernation! Happy Hump Day...Looks like I am headed to South Dakota this weekend via fort wayne!

Darin from the PS side of the forum... He needs a dually fender (wants oem) and I think I have one.... Kind of paying it forward for all the help I have received from here.... Selling it for a little less than the cost of fuel out and back...


I also look at it as a chance to meet another forum member incase I ever need help in the future...

 

Damn nice of you! I've done a little of that myself, sending out parts that I'm not going to use, for either the cost of shipping, or just for free. I've had my share of help with stuff from guys on here also!

 

It was going to be my spare...but there was an immediate need for it so I put it to use...aftermarkets are $250 plus shipping...I figured $150 hand delivered worked... I am not one to gouge or take advantage of people...
From what I have seen, Darin is another stand up guy helping other members out so it only seemed fair.

 

And, gets you out of the house to see South Dakota! How long of a trip will it be?

 

Amen to that... its been one project after another in the house... should be about 30 hours in the car... I am going to take time to visit a couple of people I know along the route... breakfast with both hopefully... One in Pecatonica, IL the other in Des Moines, IA

 

Long drive. I like driving, though, so that would be a nice trip. That's why we drive everywhere on vacation.
