This weather certainly has me screwed up......more so than normal. I think there has only been 5 or so days that I havent worn shorts this winter. Its crazy.

A quick check in.

My daughter & SIL did'nt have any damage to their home in Petal, MS. The tornado came within 4 blocks of them.
A friend of mine in Petal had half the shingles gone off his house and his next door neighbor lost his roof.

Now that's cute. I got a pic of daffodils on my phone. We got all kinds of stuff budding & just waiting to get kilt when the temps fall.

Glad your folk got missed. I see on faceplant all kind of people doing clean up down there.

Planting some Iris & a flowering shrub today while soil is damp.

Try & get up some leaves.

 

First month of the year is almost over. Warmest January in decades.

Had to open the windows many times & crank the AC twice.

Lots of folk still cleaning up or trying to figure out how to deal without a home.

Grass is growing, flower buds are popping up everywhere. Can someone please explain winter to me...sure as hell looks like spring to me.
