All my projects always take longer than I expected. Since I have a small creek in the property and some low wet areas we were talking a small pond. After researching it I am not sure anymore. The EPA had screwed that up with all the red tape and permits.
Come to find out you do not own the water or waterways on your land

I am really doing long term planning now. Booked our 2018 cruise today. So we will be on 2 brand new ships in 2 years. The one for 2018 is not even built yet.

Got the brace off today 10 weeks.

That's awesome Hugh, I am thinking doing a cruise next year or a trip to Key West. A little far out for me to even think about planning for that yet. I need to get thru the week at Disney World first. It's going to be fun but I am taking the week after just to relax.

That's great news on the brace, my finger nail is about 1/3 grown back.

the reason it did it so early is MSC cruise lines is have a discounted down payment of 49 per person thru the 30th. Plus they have a lo of other perks right now.cruise work a little different on payments. You book put down a deposit then have until 90 days before you sail to make the final payment. so the one for this year final payment due in Jul and the one for next year is FEB

A cruise to Alaska is one of the few things on my wish list. Just seems life keeps getting in the way. Sound like fun Hugh.

I actually checked into them. Couple of things the are kinda expensive for the cruise tours. Most do not return to the port they left from on the same cruise. Have to book the cruise in the opposite direction direction or fly home. very short season May to Sept. Biggest reason not to do one Lexie does not want to go up there.

Got the truck back on the road today. Couple of small mechanical things still need to get done. Some manual heater shut off valves, finding the air intrusion problem and find a power steering leak. Since a new injector pump and injectors are on the future to-do list not worried about air intrusion. Now on to the Jeep for some maintenance stuff. Then my only 2 projects will be land and the golf cart

My back is fine since I am paying a buddy that use to install flooring. He needs the money and I don't have time to mess it during the week. It's a win win situation for both of us. The wife is ecstatic that it's going down because she has wanted to have a wood floor for over a year now.

Glad you got the truck going again. Once we get the floor done I will put in the edging and paint the baseboards then I will be glad to move onto something else.

The wife drove it over the weekend and I have only driven it once and that was on the test drive before I bought it. It was full when we left Atlanta and it had just barely moved off full on the ride back home. EPA says 10 city and 11 highway. It's not going to be a daily driver anyway, just weekends, vacations and such. She has been driving the Suburban or the 4runner for trips into town.

We worked on the floor together over the weekend and I have been helping when I get home from work but he has done a majority of it by himself since Monday. I expect most of it should be down by this evening. If I would have had to do it all by myself it would have taken me forever. Not much time to do anything after I get home from work.

That's what our old 27 ft Winnebago got. One reason it's not going to be a daily driver. The wife says it's the last vehicle we will ever buy for her, we will see. Once we get the motorhome I will be good.

I have a feeling you will be buying another one for her in a couple of years. If you want to upgrade on the motorhome look at the Bluebird Wandelodge. Some of the later oned built did have slides. Expensive but worth it
