Dead as heck at work so I am taking the day off to do some stuff around here. I will make the money back up when work picks back up and I can work overtime. I like not going to work but I just have to keep motivated and focused on the end goal.

 

Each race will have 3 segments. I read the article it is AFUed. I drove out to the land yesterday to check the creek and water levels, got about 3/4 of acre of wet goo.

 

I have some limbs and a small tree that fell down. I need to scrape my driveway as it always gets jacked up when it rains really hard. I also have some water in the basement but luckily nothing devastating.

 

We are all lucky. My neighbor is working a job in Albany. His wife told us the tornado was 20 minutes from their jobsite. Also said the Marine base took heavy damage

 

I know the area that the tornado hit, bad stuff.

I got the horse trailer that we borrowed back and I got a chip in the windshield fixed on the Hummer. I still have to move the new to us couch and love seat up from the basement into the living room. Didn't get as much stuff done as I wanted but it's all good.

 

It sounds like every race will be like the Charlotte Allstar race. Don't know what to think about this. I'll know by the third race if it's a winner or not.

Talked to a customer, who is a Marine today that said that the base was closed today, kept him from flying to California for training. There was a lot of damage down there.

 

Albany is 2 hours due south of me. I not sure about the new race format either. Plus the get points for the duals now

 

The maintenance shop I use to manage moved to the Marine Corps Base in December. I called one of my old employees and he said it's pretty torn up. The Proctor and Gamble plant, a huge storage/ transfer station, the Base and of course the trailer park.

 

Was that the guys that were at you retirement ceremony? They all OK?

 

I just breaks my heart to see something like this happen. I heard that a two year old was missing from the mobile home park. No one should have to suffer through that kind of loss.

 

I lost my daughter at 8 months.c. But that was 8 months of joy. 36 years ago

 

Yes the people that were there were the people I worked with. Everyone is OK.

My little man is in the hospital. He has been fighting a respiratory infection and had a doctors apt yesterday. They say he has RSV and decided to keep him since he is really congested, low fever and did not really want to eat. That RSV stuff seems to be going around in little kids. Hopefully he will get released today.

 

Had to look up RSV. Hope he is better and hope you don't get it. It probably started when was sick earlier.

 

They tested him for RSV and the flu when we took him to the ER 2 weeks ago. They said he had a touch of pneumonia and gave him some drugs. They said keep an eye on it and if it seems to be getting worse bring him back in. He seemed to be getting better till Sunday night. That's why she took him back to the ER Monday afternoon because they could not work him in at his doctor. He did eat some last night, they gave him a breathing treatment and some oxygen. I have not heard from my wife yet this morning but I hope he is getting better and we can bring him home today.

I am good and figure if I have not gotten it yet I am good. I usually only get sick once turning from fall to winter and that was a few weeks ago. I am just tired and multi tasking trying to take care of wife, kiddo, pets, house, etc.
