then after i got home....i did a cool thing .. i was going to build another 41 chevy truck.. but i did not want to ruin the lettering on the doors of the truck that was done back in 1941..
so i checked and found the great grandson of 'roy seawright' who owned this truck until the mid 70's..i could not talk him into paying me to restore the truck.. but i did sell him the door skins for 150ea. better than sanding such cool art work off..
drivers side..
passengers side..

R.C. that's cool about the door skins. And truthfully I'd have a problem sanding that off too. If the grandson and his Grandpa were close at all he should be pretty proud of those doors.
Back at cleaning out the big bookcase full of cd's and dvd's this morning, after the coffee pot is emptied. Then that wall unit goes in the front yard Tuesday after the rain that we've had for the last 3 or 4 day's is gone.
Then on to other book, and display case's to empty and set aside to go home with us.
I'm getting good leads for Tim to get some work lined up. Everything is just going right together for us right now, just like a puzzle and the pieces are right in front of you.

Evening All!
I didn't do much of anything today. I did sneak over to the shop today and fixed the head on a Cavalier. One of the spark plugs blew out of the head and took the threads with it. I was able to heli-coil it and it seems to be holding, so far. If it does, great. If it doesn't, she's gonna need a new head.

Ok let me see if I can even get close on what RC and I accomplished today on Bullet...
Heater and radio brackets installed with radio and heater. (Heater hooked up)
Old fuel lines ripped out
Bumper all tightened down (rear)
Front bumper tightened down
Light and windshield wiper switches in
Bunch of brackets torched off ( yes..I have never used a torch...RC was teaching and I was listening... Today...
Torched off two bad rear shocks
Took a worthless step off
Grommet on valve cover
New heater hoses installed
RC spent some time figuring out wiring for a newer dash cluster... Might have been easier to clean up the old one real good RC! Joking
RC you were right...I don't remember half of what we did today...so much stuff done...
Rich that dome light lense you mentioned that I bought is awesome....I don't even have a LED bulb in it yet and it is super bright.
Thank you RC for showing me the torch. New toy on the list to buy now. That is very handy..I really appreciate all the Help and direction.

Good late evening folks. Was a nice B day party for the granddaughter. I have a slow leak on the back end of the Dodge. Will have to take that off tomorrow and get it fixed.
I at least started ol red on Friday and painted my grill insert and headlight bezels black.
Unk Bob you all being here by the 4th is AWESOME.

Thanks Rich!
That's what we're shooting for. By the way I can't wait to get back out to Beusick state park and get some well needed trigger time. I've been once since we moved. I haven't had even a box ran through my last purchase about 3 years ago. I bought an Italian made EAA Witness 9mm. It's Italian made by Tanfoglio. And fits nice in the cubby hole in the dash of my daily driver.
Today, I'm cleaning out the two big book cases in the living room, and getting that stuff packed.
We have a plan worked out that sounds pretty decent. We're going to empty the stuff that we have in the attic, completely. And same goes for the shed. All but my lawn mower, and my Snap On box. Along with book cases, Piano, and other furniture, and pack box's that we don't need. We're going to put that stuff in a "Pod" and have it shipped back home.
Then when we move, it's just what we need to have while we're still here.
So we do have a plan, and goals.
